These are the official Virgil Tracy licensed characters.

Rainbow Productions holds the UK’s official licence to manage the personal appearances of these famous characters at public events on behalf of the brand owner.

Book our character costumes to attend your corporate event. They provide family-friendly content – perfect for entertaining guests and attracting customers at organisations such as:

• Visitor Attractions
• Retailer In-Store Activities
• Children’s Festivals

We take care of everything; our full service includes the copyrighted character costume, trained performer and Road Manager (minder) to accompany the character. Please visit our character events page to find out more.

Our licensed character costumes are not available to hire on a costume-only basis. Characters are booked at a single day or an overnight rate, depending on event location, rather than for shorter time periods.

Due to the nature of the events we manage, we are not able to supply characters for private children’s parties or similar events.

Our aim is to bring these famous characters to life to create a magical experience for children when they meet the characters.

CHARACTER PROFILE FOR Virgil Tracy

Alongside his brothers, Virgil Tracy is part of the International Rescue (IR) team; the IR is a secret organisation with a mission to save human life from disasters.

The Tracy brothers each pilot a Thunderbird – high-tech vehicles for use in land, sea, air and space missions.  Virgil pilots Thunderbird 2.

Virgil is in charge of demolition, heavy lifting and logistics and is an excellent engineer and mechanic.  As well as being the biggest and strongest of the Tracy brothers, Virgil is also creative and sensitive. Although not known for his patience, he is level-headed and always manages to stay composed in extremely difficult International Rescue missions.

The Thunderbirds Are Go series is set in the year 2060 and is full of science fiction, action and adventure
