The May Bank Holiday Weekend is gearing up to be a busy calendar of character events, immediately followed by a Half Term also full of licensed character activities including Workshops, Mini Shows, Character Narrations and Meet and Greets.
Rainbow Productions represents over 100 famous children’s brands under licence on behalf of IP owners and takes these properties into the live events environment during public appearances at venues UK-wide.
Over the course of the three day Bank Holiday Weekend, Saturday 24th to Monday 26th May, there will be opportunities for families to see characters such as Postman Pat (fresh from his film premiére), Peppa Pig and her family, Ben & Holly from Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom, Bob the Builder and more.
Half Term Week will also provide many families heading to nearby shopping centres the option to see added theatre and entertainment on offer – including a Mike the Knight and Evie Narration event at The Pavillions shopping centre in Uxbridge (May 30), a Postman Pat Narration at Centrale in Croydon (May 31), Moshi Monster meet and greets from Katsuma and Poppet at the Walnuts shopping centre in Orpington (May 28), Ben & Holly from ‘Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom’ taking part in a Narration event at the newly re-branded intu Merry Hill shopping centre (May 28) or Angelina Ballerina encouraging kids to join in her Dance Workshop at The Oracle shopping centre in Reading (May 28).
Licensed children’s characters are also scheduled to be out and about this May Half Term as part of entertainment line-ups at visitor attractions including the National Railway Museum in Shildon and Adventure Wonderland in Bournemouth.
