INFORMATION FOR BOOKING The Teletubbies FOR A CORPORATE APPEARANCE

These are the official The Teletubbies licensed characters.

Rainbow Productions holds the UK’s official licence to manage the personal appearances of the Teletubbies at public events on behalf of the brand owner.

Book our character costumes to attend your corporate event. They provide family-friendly content - perfect for entertaining guests and attracting customers at organisations such as:

• Shopping Centres
• Visitor Attractions
• Retailer In-Store Activities
• Children’s Festivals

We take care of everything; our full service includes the copyrighted character costume, trained performer and Road Manager (minder) to accompany the character. Please visit our character events page to find out more. Due to the nature of the events we manage, we are not able to supply characters for private children’s parties or similar events. Our licensed character costumes are not available to hire on a costume-only basis. Characters are booked at a single day or an overnight rate, depending on event location, rather than for shorter time periods. Our aim is to bring these famous characters to life to create a magical experience for children when they meet the characters

CHARACTER PROFILE FOR The Teletubbies

The Teletubbies – Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po – live in Teletubbyland.

Tinky Winky is the purple one.  He is the largest of the Teletubbies and has a triangular aerial on his head.  He is kind and caring, enjoys walking, marching and loves his red bag.

Dipsy is the green one.  He has a straight aerial on his head and is the coolest, trendiest teletubby.  Dipsy’s favourite thing is his black and white cow print top hat. He also loves singing and dancing.

Laa-Laa is the yellow one. She is cheery and has a twirly aerial on her head.  Laa-Laa is bright, bubbly and enjoys playing with her big, orange ball as well as running, skipping and jumping.

Po is the red one.  She is the smallest Teletubby and has a circular aerial on her head.  She is positive and fun-loving and likes scooting around on her favourite scooter.

All the Teletubbies love “Big Hugs”.

ADDITIONAL BRAND INFORMATION FOR The Teletubbies

• The Teletubbies first hit TV screens in 1997 and became a global phenomenon.  The brand still benefits from huge consumer awareness and the new series builds on the brand’s heritage.
• The show has been redeveloped for a new generation and brings new episodes to air for the first time since 2001.
• Series 2 features a new Tubby Car, Hidey-Hup and the Tiddlytubbies.
• They released a single named ‘Teletubbies say “Eh-Oh!”’ which topped the UK charts in 1997.
