CHARACTER PROFILE FOR Hey Duggee

Hey Duggee is a friendly, very talented brown dog who can dance, sing, paint cook, amongst many other things. He is mostly very sensible and always kind.

Duggee is the leader of the Squirrel Club; a place where kids have adventures and earn badges for their accomplishments.  The Squirrels are a group of five small animals named Norrie, Happy, Roly, Tag & Betty.  Duggee is responsible for organising all of their activities and likes to make sure that everyone is having fun.

Duggee has more badges than anyone; over 104 at the last count! More than anything, Duggee likes a great big… DUGGEE HUG!

• Hey Duggee launched on CBeebies in 2014 and has since aired for two series, with a third series rolling out from March 2019.
• Hey Duggee frequently ranks as a top 3 programme on CBeebies.
• Hey Duggee has won 6 Children’s BAFTA’s including the award for best Pre-school Animation three times!
• The “Stick Song” from series 2 has been viewed more than 4.5 million times on YouTube and a special version of the song – The Kick Song – became the unofficial World Cup Anthem in 2018.
